There’s such a fulfilling feeling that first time you sit down with a bride (and her mama) to talk about her wedding. Their ideas, their fears, their concerns, their excitement, their nerves – deciding to work together means that you, as the coordinator, are ready and waiting to take on those feelings, too. When I first met with Chelsey and her mom last August, there was an instant click. I got th […]
You remember our girl, Jessie when she married her man? Of course you do.

What started as an empty barn…
…slowly became what would be one of my favorite weddings of 2014.

And I am so happy that we captured some behind-the-scenes shots of it all getting set up.
Our day started bright and early with a text from the bride, Jess, about a mix-up with one of the desserts. A quick trip to a local gluten-free bakery, Made with Love […]
The email came through on October 7, 2013:
“…Originally, we didn’t think we needed a planner/coordinator.”
“We are getting married on a Sunday, so normally, the wedding couples have the barn the ENTIRE week prior to the wedding, but we will not. We have access Sunday morning, so ideally, I would like someone there to make sure the vendors get there accordingly to set up the […]
A few months ago, I sat down in a pizza shop with the most adorable bride and her sweet but overall concerned mom. They were planning the wedding of a lifetime but were concerned about how they were actually going to execute it all. Like most brides, Jamie wanted to enjoy her wedding day. Like most mothers, Peggy wanted her daughter to have a fantastic day without worrying about the details of the setup. Unlike most brides and moms, Jamie was planning her wedding reception to happen at a local clothing store in Pittston, PA.
On that same day a few months ago, I walked into a clothing store called Boden on South Main Street in Pittston. It’s truly a cute store, I must say. The catch with this store is that it was built to be an event space for locals parties and events. When the clothing store moved in, they didn’t quite anticipate the success it would have. Anyway, I was tasked with turning this amazing store into a reception for about 160 guests in about three hours time.
To say that receiving a review from a past client makes my day is a TOTAL understatement. Especially when it’s a review like this one from Christina and Nick from their August 10, 2013 wedding at Friedman Farms.

Kim and Drew tied the knot earlier this month at the Woodlands Inn & Resort in Wilkes Barre, PA. Amanda Brooke Photography was there capturing all the moments and details and I was so elated to read this review of my work from the bride.
“I cannot speak highly enough of Danielle…she was simply marvelous from beginning to end. Danielle made sure our rehearsal and wedding w […]
