Well, this morning I woke up to an awesome recap in Jessica’s “Notes from a Newlywed” series on her blog

So sweet. And with tomorrow being my birthday, I’m not sure what more a girl can ask for!

Lots of love to everyone, but some extra special love to Jess! xo.

  • Real Wedding: Amanda + Mark's sparkler send-off from Daniel Moyer Photography

    09.01.2011 / Real Weddings / 3 comments

While I was hard at work on a photo shoot yesterday, I received an email from the crazy-energetic Daniel Moyer of Daniel Moyer Photography with some pictures from Amanda and Mark’s sparkler send-off!

    Enjoy!

And I urge you to check out this awesome e-shoot from Dan – so fun!

I do have to say that prior to these photos being taken, I was running around the corner to get out of any potential pictures and completely wiped out and fell on my hip. I now have a lovely black-and-blue mark on my hip – OUCH! But worth it – LOVE these pictures!

Also, mad props to Amanda and Mark, along with all of these guests – it was crazy rainy and windy outside at this point! Nothing like leaving your wedding in a hurricane. ;)

    Real Wedding: Desiree + Scott – July 30, 2011

    08.04.2011 / Real Weddings / 2 comments

Just a fabulous (and quick) sneak peek from Desiree and Scott’s wedding this past weekend shot by Maggie J Photography.

By the way, I absolutely adore Desiree’s smile, and she is always laughing. Her and her new hubby, Scott are just an awesome couple.

The couple tied the knot at Packer Memorial Church on the Lehigh University campus followed by a celebration at the historic Hotel Bethlehem. We were all entertained for the evening by UUU – one of my new, favorite bands along with some personal musical touches by Jimmy Meyer and Steve Brosky. Dale of Elysian Fields Specialty Florals put together some positively GORGEOUS bouquets and boutonnieres, along with beautiful compotes that held a cake at the center of EACH (yes, each!) table by Kym’s Creations.

Oh and did I mention that each table was themed after a favorite band/musician of the couple? These two truly “rocked”.

Thank you to Des and Scott for including me in your day. I had a blast and you had me in tears during the ceremony – just stunning from beginning to end.

Real Wedding: 5.0 Review from L&L

    07.01.2011 / Real Weddings / 3 comments

I originally told you about L&L’s beautiful wedding a few days ago, and when I received this super-sweet review, I had tears in my eyes. I’ve been blessed with some of the most amazing couples in my career, and L&L are no exception.

I have so many reasons to thank Danielle it’s difficult to even know where to start! When I first started planning my wedding I thought I would do it all myself. It wasn’t until a good friend of mine told me “you need to hire a day of coordinator or you will go nuts!” that I decided to start to shop around for someone to help out. Through some online searching I found Danielle and I must admit, this was absolutely the best decision I made about my wedding hands down!

From the first day to the last, every interaction we had with Danielle was efficient, fast and professional. As the date approached she started taking over more and more, checking in with my vendors and making sure I had everything covered in my own planning. This was enormously helpful, especially because I live in California and was planning my wedding from afar. She offered suggestions but never pushed her opinions on us, letting us make the final decision in every situation. She accounted for every detail, mentioning things I never would have thought of.

At the rehearsal she really ran the show! I’m not entirely sure what we would have done without her there – we probably would have been wandering around, confused and frustrated. LOL. Thank goodness she was there to help!

During the wedding she assisted where we could not, made sure everyone was where they should, and ultimately was responsible for helping make our wedding absolutely PERFECT :)

Honestly I really couldn’t imagine having my wedding without Danielle – she helped me be a calm, happy and joyful bride. She really is the best!

I just love these details, captured beautifully by Lalee Photography of the Sayre Mansion and flowers by Allium Floral Design.

And I found such a sweet statement that Mindy made over on OneWed about me…

How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla? The day of–I felt like I could just let go and enjoy everything because she was there to help work out any kinks and also I will never forget walking down the aisle because right before it, she was getting ready to cue me, and right before it was my turn to walk she nodded and gestured to take a deep breath. She knew exactly how to put me at ease and help me enjoy every moment.

  • Real Wedding: Jessica & Sheil – May 29, 2011 Review

    06.22.2011 / Real Weddings / one comment

Well, Jessica and Sheil have returned from their amazing trip to Greece and they left me such a sweet review (did I mention that Jessica is one the Two Wedding Belles?). And I realized that there were some photos by Girl Photography that I didn’t share with you, so enjoy.

Being a DOC myself, I knew that I needed an awesome coordinator for my own wedding. Danielle is everything you hope to get when you hire a DOC. She is super-organized and has a positive attitude. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed their interactions with her, and I really cannot imagine pulling off all the little details of the day without her.

For more reviews from past couples, or to leave a review for me, visit WeddingWire.

    Cheers – xo.
