So as I sit here patiently waiting on this beautiful fall afternoon for my iPhone operating system to update (yep, I’m an Apple junkie) I experienced a “no time like the present” moment to update the blog on some recent happenings and give a sad-but-true excuse as to why things have been a little quiet in these parts.
First some updates…
Since the beginning of August, we have been kicking butt at a wedding every single weekend. And we aren’t done yet. We’ve been to Wilkes Barre, Dallas, Villanova, Scranton, Glenmoore, Thompson and about to head to Pittston for this weekend. We’ve been indoors, outdoors, in churches, barns, manor homes, and more. And I’m so excited to say that we’ve grown and taken away so much knowledge and experience from these past few weeks. Just when I think I have a system down, I see a hole and find a way to patch it up. More and more, we are becoming more efficient and more thorough ultimately offering the best service we can to the client. And that’s so stinking cool!

On the back end of things, we’ve been diving into even more learning. In between reading the Hunger Games books (holy moly I’m hooked), I’ve been beefing up my business skills with the Small Business Bodyguard course and trying to find a direction of my branding with Brandgasm 101. I also recently signed up for a Calligraphy course that I am SUPER stoked to begin! It’s been something I’ve been chatting about for a while and I’m over-the-moon excited to see if I can even do this!
Next up on the horizon, I’m finally going to start building my own website. Don’t get me wrong, I like this website and I’m happy to say that I’ve received many a compliment on it. But, it just doesn’t feel like me yet. I’ll get there. Right now, I’m working on some copy and secretly searching for someone to re-do my logo. Any suggestions? Go.
Alright, so after all this, I check my phone to see how much longer… ERROR. Damnit. I mean, dang it. (I’ve also given up cursing for lent… yes I know it’s not lent.)
Ok, back to my timelines. Talk soon my amazing friends.
