Back in 1990, I had the honor of being a flower girl in my godmother’s wedding. The ladies in the bridal party wore (what else?) hot pink as did I and on my head was a crown of (fake) flowers. I truly wish I had a picture to show you. I remember loving every minute except when they told me I had to dance with the ring bearer. I was 5, he was 7 or so… and I would’ve rather crawled under a table than dance with a boy. Oh Danielle… such a wimp.
So, I think we’ve all seen the floral crowns, but when I was bopping around Etsy this morning, I found these two lovely faces and couldn’t help but fall in love with the idea for a flower girl. Maybe it comes from my love of “Where the Wild Things Are” but how adorable, no?
The first one is from Etsy seller, Ula and the second is from Ampygalpin.

Cheers,

These are so cute! I wish I could’ve had a flower girl in my wedding just so I could pick a really cute outfit for them….probably would’ve been one with lots of tulle and yeah maybe a crown of sorts too.
I could definitely see a crown (with a garland wand) fitting into your wedding. Maybe the next one?? ;)
