By nature, I am a terrible eater. I LOVE junk food, I WANT to like exercising, but I don’t. Well, let me clarify… I like exercising, but getting myself started is THE hardest thing for me. So, when a former classmate contacted me about a great, new adventure she was a part of, I knew I had to share the information with my readers – because I can’t be alone.
01. Let’s start with some introductions. Tell us about yourself.
My name is Cara Szili and I’m currently a 2nd grade teacher at Lakeland. There I’m a part of the PTA After-School clubs and lead a dance club. I’ve also been teaching at Carbondale Dance Academy for the past 15 years. Just recently I’ve stopped teaching to advance myself at my workplace, and to begin my health/fitness business with AdvoCare.
02. What made you decide to first try AdvoCare and their products?
I decided to try AdvoCare products because I was introduced to them by my sister, Maria. She’s into health and fitness like me, so I knew she wouldn’t steer me wrong. First and foremost, eat clean. Clean eating involves lean protiens, veggies, fruits, complex carbs, and “good” fats. Secondly, find a workout that you love and do it with INTENSITY! You don’t have to workout for long if you workout hard! Finally, give yourself time to “cheat”. There can be a day where you have a slice of cake or a little ice cream at a party. As long as you’re generally holding true to clean eating, then a little cheat here and there is okay. And that way, since you give that to yourself every once in awhile, you won’t go bindge!
Since that is hard to do for many, or maybe some people are stuck, I suggest the 24 Day Challenge from AdvoCare. It supplies you with vitamins and herbal cleansing to help you get over that bump. 05. What are some exercises that you recommend that help tone the typical problem areas?
Abs: work them every day for about 10 mins a day. Work them hard and make them feel tired. I suggest standing ab moves to help protect your back.
Arms: tricep dips on a chair work wonders for that “under arm flab”
Legs: squats are amazing for your legs AND butt!
Cardio: I love TurboFire (and I’m not paid in anyway to say that!) It’s become my “soulmate workout”. It makes me look and feel amazing. Otherwise, find something YOU love to do, and do it about 20 mins a day, 5 days a week.
