Elegant, Summer Vault 634 Wedding | Chloe and Matt

Chloe and Matt were one of many, many couples who were hoping to get married in 2021, but ultimately made the decision to postpone their plans for the safety of their guests. Along with every couple who had to navigate wedding planning in the middle of a pandemic, my heart broke for them. But selfishly, I was happy that I’d get to work with them for another year, because they were just that great.

Chloe is an interior designer, so her eye for detail and design was top notch. Her (now) husband, Matt was the constant pillar of support and intention throughout the whole process. Together, I think we planned a day that was not only stunning and elegant, but a really great time for them and their guests.

Despite the day starting with a bit of rain and grey skies, it eventually turned into a gorgeous and sunny day. Which filled my heart to the brim, because they deserved nothing less.

The group decided to get ready at the Renaissance Hotel in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The team with Makeup by Roxy was on-site to help everyone look absolutely stunning. And all of these beautiful photos (just wait until you see the portraits) are by The Kruks.

Not only was this couple incredibly wonderful and loving, but they were also so beautiful. The Kruks took so many incredible portraits of these two and I had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few favorites to show here. But let’s start with these adorable ones of Chloe…

Wild Indigo was the florist and provided the most lovely blooms. Everything felt so unique and natural, without being too “wild”.

Once everyone was ready, it was time to load up and head to St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for the ceremony. I’m pretty sure Chloe took Matt’s breath away with her beauty and that PERFECT cathedral-length veil.

After the vows were shared and rings exchanged, the couple made their grand exit from the church.

I often say that there’s moments throughout the day where you want to pause, take a breath, and really soak in what’s happening. As these two newlyweds were surrounded by nothing by love, joy, and a community of support, I hope they did exactly that in this moment.

After some formal photos at the church, the couple and their wedding party made their way to Allentown for some photos around the area.

Couple portraits are always some of my FAVORITE photos from the day. But these truly took my breath away. Obviously, a result of the incredible work by Erica and David of The Kruks, but also Chloe and Matt are just GORGEOUS humans.

Throughout the planning process, we had several meetings we had where we talked about florals, decor, and all the little details that really personalize the day. And it was clear that every meeting was worth it and every decision was just perfection. From the beautiful, organic centerpieces by Wild Indigo to the raw edges on the seating chart. 😍

Now, I need to gush HEAVILY about their reception venue, Vault 634, in Allentown, PA. This was the DPNAK team’s first time working here and we were all BLOWN AWAY. Not only is it a gorgeous venue with great photo spots and a fun speakeasy in the lower level… it’s also one of the most professional and well-run venues I’ve had the pleasure of working with all year.

The staff was attentive, helpful, accommodating, flexible, talented, and kind. AND, they had one of the smoothest dinner services, too.

After this event, I was BEYOND honored when they reached out about adding DPNAK to their preferred list of wedding pros. (If you’re getting married there and reading this, a) great job on picking a great venue, and b) let’s chat.)

After a delicious dinner, it was time for dancing. The couple chose the Bachelor Boys Band for their band and they did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor and highly entertained.

While there are always really touching moments that happen throughout the day, one of my favorites at this wedding was Chloe’s dance with her Mom to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. It was so clear, just by their faces, how much love and respect was shared between these two women. As a daughter who is also very close with her mama, man it got me right in the heartstrings to witness this joyful moment.

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Congratulations, Chloe and Matt, on an elegant and stunning wedding! Your attention to detail and love for those around you shown through in every decision. May your future chapters be even more beautiful and incredible!
