Rose Bank Winery Wedding | Selina and John

Picture this: a perfect October day, the kind that makes you fall in love with Fall all over again. Crisp air, golden leaves, and love in the air. That's exactly what my team and I had the privilege of experiencing at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA, when we helped coordinate Selina and John’s wedding.

This wasn't your typical wedding. It was a fantastic fusion of DIY magic and the expertise of some wildly talented vendors. The couple brought their own flair to the decor, and the result? A wedding that was uniquely and undeniably "them”.

But it wasn't all DIY heroics. They also brought in the big guns, like Pat Robinson Photography, the genius behind the lens who captured the moments that made everyone’s hearts swell. And the team at We Are Wildflowers were the floral fairy godmothers who sprinkled floral magic everywhere.

So, grab a glass of your favorite vino 🍷 and get ready to be charmed as I take you on a journey through this unforgettable Fall wedding. It was all about love, laughter, and the kind of moments you'll want to remember forever.

While Selina and John opted to wait until the ceremony to see one another, Selina did have a very touching “First Look” moment with her dad. As a family, you could tell they’re incredibly close and they were over-the-moon with joy for their daughter and son-in-law.

The colors in the wedding party combined with the stunning florals made for a perfect palette for the Fall season. To bring it all together, these bouquets were truly 😍😍😍 perfection.

One of my favorite details of the day were the ceremony programs. They were printed on thick cardstock and featured a trifold design complete with a pocket for tissues (🤯) AND a list of the key vendors in the day listed on the back (SO sweet!!).

Since the couple opted not to see each other before the ceremony, the Father of the Bride also built a massive barn door entrance for the start of the aisle. The doors were fully functioning and closed just before Selina and her dad walked down the aisle.

And the resulting reaction from the groom, John… 🥺🥺 oh, my heart.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed Cocktail Hour in Vintner’s Ballroom complete with a tasty Signature Cocktail (Spiced Apple Cider with Spiced Apple Wine) and Signature Mocktail (Iced Caramel Coffee) — while the couple snuck away to take some photos together.

The Rose Ballroom space for the reception is where the details really came together — including a MASSIVE seating chart adored with florals and decor items.

As a teacher, Selina’s students made her some beautiful and wonderfully sweet cards with their best wishes and congratulations.

We Are Wildflowers always knocks it out of the park with their designs. But this Sweetheart Table installation was a total showstopper. In addition to the florals on the table, the team created a stunning hanging piece over the table. And to bring it all together, the florals from the ceremony were repurposed around the base of the table.

In addition to cake, the couple also opted to serve a variety of donuts AND pies — because having “too many” sweets is a very good problem to have.

Selina and John, thank you for trusting my team and I to captain your ship. Your desire to give your guests an INCREDIBLE experience mixed with your DIY talents made for a highly-personalized and joy-filled wedding day.

My husband and I are so grateful to Danielle for all of her hard work making our wedding day so perfect and we still talk about how she was the best investment. She was so supportive and kind throughout the whole process and helped me navigate every aspect answering my thousands of questions and changes. She is the reason we had such an incredible wedding.
