Real Wedding: Jen and Ryan’s Westmoreland Club Wedding
One of my favorite things after a wedding is receiving some blog-worthy images from the photographers we’ve worked with. It’s a perfect way to relive the day and see all the moments that truly made the day AH-MAZING! Daniel Moyer did a bomb-diggity job of capturing all of the details and special moments of Jen and Ryan’s Westmoreland Club wedding and how can I NOT share these with you?
Hair and makeup started at one of my favorite salons, SaKaRi in Forty Fort.
And the girls stayed at the Frederick Stegmaier Mansion to finish getting dressed.
Dan took the couple to the streets for their First Looks… btw, how adorable is she?!
After a few photos, we rolled over to the ceremony for my first truly Russian Orthodox ceremony. One of the unique factors of this type of ceremony are the crowns that are held above the couple’s heads for about 30 minutes?! They can’t be touched so they must hover over their heads and I have to say the Best Man and the Bride’s Uncle (pictured below) did a stellar job and made it look easy. My arms would’ve been burnin’!
Gah – how stunning is she?!
Guests were welcomed by the Westmoreland Club’s elegant atmosphere and Central Park Flower’s stunning, patriotic centerpieces. MCR Productions added a touch of uplighting to really enhance the space.
Their First Dance was to “Feels Like Home” and I was most certainly tearing up in the corner. That song gets me every time. Although, who am I kidding? Every first dance makes me tear up.
Check out that uplighting folx…
And of course, the perks of working with Dan is getting a group shot at the end of the night!
This wedding was not just a beautiful day, but it revolved around such an elegant and classy couple. And we’re excited to be working with a brand-new and super-adorable couple at the Westmoreland Club again next year (we just found out this morning… happy dance!)
Cheers to a great weekend, folks! We’re off to Wilkes Barre again for a wedding rehearsal tonight and celebration tomorrow!
