Six of my Favorite Wedding Venues in the Lehigh Valley, Bucks-Mont, and Philadelphia areas

It’s been a few years since I did a roundup of some of favorite wedding venues in the area. The first one I did was in 2015, followed by another in 2018. Clearly, this is long overdue for an update as we’ve worked at several absolutely INCREDIBLE venues since then.

This list includes some unique and beautiful venues throughout the Lehigh Valley, Bucks-Mont, and Philadelphia areas that I love working with.

It is far from a comprehensive list of the venues I recommend and in no particular order. If you need help with selecting your wedding venue, I do offer one-hour consultations to discuss your priorities and brainstorm ideas.

Bok

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

One of my absolute FAVORITE venues in Philadelphia is Bok in South Philly. What was once a vocational high school is now a space that absolutely OOZES with personality and creativity. It’s full of artisans, workshops, and makers, and a GREAT spot for a unique and modern couple to host their wedding.

The 8th floor rooftop, auditorium, and gymnasium spaces are great canvases that have their own character, but can still be tailored to the couple.

Want a simple dinner with a great view? You got it.

How about a killer party complete with a disco ball? Yep, you got that too.

Logistically, this is definitely a venue where you want to work with a vendor team who is confident in their craft. And I’m wildy honored to be listed on their list of preferred planners.

(Which, as of this writing, is a genuine “preferred vendor” list. Not something that vendors have paid to be listed on.)

Vault 634

Allentown, Pennsylvania

When you’re looking for a venue that provides great food, tasty drinks, and a killer atmosphere in Lehigh Valley, I’d highly recommend checking out Vault 634.

This is a venue run by absolute professionals who do what they say they’re going to do for you. Far too often, I’ve heard empty promises to “sell” the space. But Vault commits to it’s couples and absolutely makes it happen.

Free Library on the Parkway

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Everything about a wedding at the Free Library on the Parkway is just dripping with romance, character, and elegance.

Your ceremony can happen in the beautiful lobby, followed by a cocktail hour along the second floor balcony. Afterwards, you and your guests can opt to have a gorgeous night of dinner and dancing under the stars, overlooking at the Philly skyline — or put up a tent to ensure Mother Nature doesn’t affect your plans.

Whatever you decide, the dedicated catering team for the library, Brûlée Catering, does a fantastic job of making sure all of your food and beverage needs are well handled.

This is truly the type of wedding where guests will be taking photos ALL NIGHT LONG.

Parque at Ridley Creek

Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

The first time the team and I were at Parque for a wedding, one of my assistants said it felt like we were in the castle from Beauty and the Beast — and I couldn’t agree more. (Minus the singing and dancing teacups, of course)

The venue is romantic, charming, and nestled in Ridley Creek State Park making it feel very secluded, while still being somewhat close to the city.

This is a great spot for guest lists in the 80-110 size, though it can technically host more. One of my favorite features is their LARGE on-site getting ready space. It’s bright, airy, and has plenty of room (and mirrors) for hair, makeup, and getting dressed.

Union Trust

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Union Trust, located right in Center City Philadelphia, is a gorgeous venue that truly takes your breath away when you first walk in.

It’s the type of space where you can really do a lot, or keep it effortless and simple and let the venue speak for itself. The ceilings are MASSIVELY high and their height is accentuated by the in-house lighting. (All you need to do is pick a color… no extra vendors to deal with there.)

Food and beverage is all handled in-house by Finley Catering — and I’m a BIG fan of theirs. Delicious food, smooth service, and lots of options.

It’s a definitely a “WOW” venue without much extra work on your end.

Glasbern Inn

Fogelsville, Pennsylvania

Located in the Lehigh Valley area, Glasbern Inn is a popular venue for couples looking to host an event where their guests can also stay on-site.

There are a few different locations, depending on the size of your guest list, but my absolute favorite ceremony site is just outside the Packhouse. There’s a large built-in arbor that makes a great base for your ceremony decor and absolutely STUNNING views beyond it.

Their ballroom space is simple, tasteful, and bright. Just about any decor or color palette works really well there, and load-in for vendors is a BREEZE.

Because of the way this venue is staffed, I HIGHLY recommend having your own dedicated, independent wedding planner or coordinator on your team.

Have you already picked your venue?

If you’ve already selected your wedding venue and looking for help with coordination services, send over a message to see if your wedding date is available. Dates are limited and I only commit to one event per weekend, so the sooner you reach out — the better!
