Jillian and Tom’s Stone Meadow Gardens Wedding

The week of Jillian and Tom’s wedding, Mother Nature had NO idea what type of weather she wanted to deliver as a gift to the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Runscavage. At the start of the week, rain was looking pretty certain in the forecast and while we always know how easily that can change, I started preparing for what I thought was going to be a wet day.

As if I didn’t already think this gorgeous bride, Jillian, was a total rockstar and fabulous human being, I’m now convinced that she had some serious super powers in the weather department. When their finally arrived, it was a beautiful, comfortable, and pretty delightful Summer day. There was still a quick shower in the afternoon, but all in all, it was such a great day.

Jillian opted to get ready at her parents house along the Susquehanna River. The team at Philly Hair and Makeup Co. did a great job of making everyone even MORE stunning.

And how gorgeous is the train on that dress?!

The couple had a traditional wedding ceremony at their hometown church in West Pittston, PA.

Side note: While I’m currently based in Perkasie in the Bucks County area, I’m originally from the Scranton area. The DPNAK team and I had previously tackled Jillian’s sister’s wedding in 2013, so when she reached out to say she was engaged, I was more than happy to travel back home to help her.

After the ceremony, we traveled to their reception venue, Stone Meadow Gardens, to capture some family photos and make sure all was ready for when their guests arrived.

Stone Meadow Gardens in Clarks Summit, PA is a GORGEOUS venue with the right mix of indoor/outdoor space, beautiful gardens (the owners are talented landscapers), and room to customize to your needs.

The magic combination of Brittany Boote Photography, Chippy White Table, Central Park Flowers, and DPNAK Events resulted in one of the most beautiful, well-designed events. With Jillian, every detail was intentional and thoughtful. And we were absolutely honored to help coordinate the details in executing it.

After a delicious dinner from Constantino’s Catering, the couple’s DJ friend, DJ Tonez kept the dance floor packed all night long. (DJ Tonez isn’t based in the area, but I so wish he was — he was AWESOME to work with!)

Jillian and Tom, congratulations again on a beautiful, thoughtful, and intentional day. Definitely an event I won’t forget for a long time! xx.
