Top 5 Favorite Pennsylvania Wedding Venues from 2015

Each year, our couples take me and the DPNAK crew along with them on some amazing journeys to such BEAUTIFUL venues.

I can’t help but think how lucky we are every single time we get to be a part of such stunning wedding days.

That being said, we had the pleasure of working at some awesome places in 2015 and I wanted to share my top five favorite Pennsylvania wedding venues with you.

I should note that we also work a LOT on private properties, but since you can’t really ask to get married in a stranger’s backyard (well maybe you could), I figured I’d leave them out.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Macungie, PA

I would’ve never guessed how wonderful of a venue Bear Creek is. Not only are they super generous and helpful, but their on-site accommodations for you and your guests are beautiful, hospitable and well thought out. From a vendor’s standpoint, they were always willing to do whatever it took to be a team and do what was best for the couple.

With three different rooms, they can hold up to 250 guests (in one room) with options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony on-site. Luckily, we have a few more Bear Creek weddings coming up in 2016, too!

Scranton Cultural Center

Scranton, PA

As far as I’m concerned, the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple is one of the BEST places to have a lavish wedding in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It’s Grande Ballroom will never fail to make people GASP as soon as they see the elegance of the room and when you pair it with great pros like Central Park Flowers, you really can’t go wrong.

Fiddle Lake Farm

Thompson, PA

Fiddle Lake Farm is a venue that is taking the NEPA area by storm. Owners, Pam and Craig are honestly two of the sweetest and helpful people you’ll ever meet and their property is nothing short of amazing. Their barn holds intimate weddings of around 120 guests or less with a seamless option to add as much space as you need with a tent that looks like it was part of the barn from the beginning. They have on-site options to get married on a beautiful hilltop, by a lake, in an apple orchard or a nearby church and they have lodging on-site for you and your VIPs. It’s just gorgeous.

Friedman Farms

Dallas, PA

I’m not going to lie, Friedman Farms is one stunner of a venue. If you’re looking for a barn wedding, this is a good one to check out. Although, you may have to wait a few years to book your date.

National Constitution Center

Philadelphia, PA

National Constitution Center is one of the coolest spots we worked at in Philadelphia. Their on-site caterer, Brulee Catering is not only a pleasure to work with (and detail-oriented) but they produce some AMAZING food for the guests. It’s such a unique venue with beautiful views of the city and it’ll completely blow your guests socks off.
